I just received my BBS2 from Tranquil. I purchased 4 WD WD30EZRX 3tb hard disks. I have enabled UEFI in the BIOS.
When using the Trabquil's onboard RAID controller, the BIOS-based utility sees all 4 drives but only 745Gb drives, not 3Tb drives.
Setting the controller to AHCI (and not RAID), WHS2011 sees them the same - as only 745Gb drives.
My plan was to create a single RAID5 partion, with 9Tb of unformatted space.
Help!
***UPDATE ***** With the SATA controller in "IDE" mode, the WHS 2011 installation sees them as full capacity - 2.7Tb each. I'd like to use the internal RAID controlelr and not software RAID.

Hi
Just wondering if you managed to get the solution to this? I'm thinking about upgrading my BBS running WHS 1 to WHS 2011 but a little anxious over all the RAID setup as well as the power of the Atom 330 to run WHS 2011.
Be interested to hear about how you got on.
Thanks
Mark
