WHS 2011 will no longer launch dashboard from the actual system itself and from remote systems. i tried safe mode and disabled every single thing in the list 1 at a time then all at once with no success. i get a popup error message that says the following when i try to launch:

the exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occured in the application at location 0xfdcbcacd

then it asks me if i want to relaunch, doesnt matter still wont launch. Tried restarting, nothing. Tried updating, nothing. Tried safe mode, nothing.

Any suggestions or ideas would be fantastic, thanks in advance

Weird but I've had this exact same issue over the last week or so.

Correction just fixed it. Delete the dashboard.exe directory in C:\users\administrator\appdata\local\microsoft_corporation. When you run dashboard it will get corrected. I was getting a fatal error something to due with a bad variable in the user.cfg file in that directory.

okay against my better judgement i went ahead and deleted the folder, i didnt however remember to make a backup of the stupid thing. now dashboard splash comes up then nothing happens, the folder doesnt re-create itself and dashboard doesnt run. any suggestions now, i dont know of any way to re install the dashboard.

correction folder was created after i ran in safe mode with all add ins disabled, dashboard however still does not launch

Just wanted to post up that this solution worked for me! I simply deleted the folder, as instructed and it booted fine. Thank you so much!
