Hi

I have just goit a new Windows 7 PC and tried to install the WHS Connector. I get an error saying this computer cannot be added to WHS. The message goes on to tell me that 'a maximum of 10 computers have already been added. Use the WHS console to remove a computer that is no longer being used'.

This is very frustrating as I only have 3 PCs - certainly not 10!

Help appreciated?

Thanks

Mark

Sometimes, some abortive processes when adding a PC can leave entries in the registry to make the server think it has more PC's attached than reality.

Check out the info in this thread - http://forum.wegotse...indows-xp-mode/

Dave

Many thanks - that answered it. The registry had 10 entries only 3 of which were valid. I deleted the empty ones, rebooted and voila!

Thanks again

Regards

Mark
