Hey guys,

It's been a while since my last visit - a very long time infact! I haven't even seen the new site, it looks awesome! Anyways, since WHS 2011 was released, I've converted my home server to a full linux server install (using ubuntu server). My goal was to recreate basically all the functionality that I used with my install of WHS. It's been a learning experience, but I would say that it has been very successful!

I plan on writing a series of blog posts that detail everything from building my server (literally, from scratch), to setting up everything that is required to create a "clone server" with some added functionality to boot.

I'm writing them as I go, but I'm open to any questions, requests, or discussions about the process. Feel free to comment on any of the posts! Corrections are welcome. I'm not the best writer afterall.

The link to my blog (running from my server in fact) is

http://kbentley.dyndns.org

I'll post the same material here, but I would appreciate it if the blog itself got a few hits. I'm trying to (as a hobby more or less) put out a bit on info that I've had to lean while setting all of this up, as well as some other personal items.

Thanks, first post to come soon!

Edit: the updated list of posts will appear below, just for organization.

Part 1 - Building the server chassis and assembly. http://kbentley.dynd...miniitx-server/
