Hi All,

I'm gathering parts for a new build and am having trouble choosing hard drives.

I'll be using the Adeptec 6805 controller card and below is a link to compatible drives

http://download.adap...-12_series6.pdf

I've been looking at raid class/ enterprise class drives due to their TLER features but the compatability list shows normal desktop class drives.

Am I right to assume that the raid controller card will be undertaking the error handling and not the drives?

Thanks for any advice.

Regards

Jack
