Please help...I installed the add-in and it initially worked fine. After I started it once it maximized itself in the console and I closed out of it to see my other tabs. Now all I get is a blue background in all my consoles except if I remote in and start the console on the WHS itself then it's fine. I've uninstalled the add-in and reinstalled the connector but it always comes up blue with nothing else...help!

Looks like a reboot of the affected machines fixed it right up...great add-in!

It is the zip file at the bottom of the original post.

Is the video supposed to have audio? I can't hear anything and am having trouble with the set up. It tells me that PS3 Media Server is not installed on WHS when I select the first button per the video.

Same here.. It says it cannot find PS3 Media Server after I install the addin in the Software-Addin Folder.. Youre supposed to do both right? Via Remote Desktop you install the PS3 MediaServer from the desktop (which I accidentally installed it from the software folder...:/) then install it as an addin..?Crap I think installing it from the Software folder messed it up.. It let me install it from the desktop so apparently I have two running.. the first one doesn't show up in the Add Remove folder.. Do I need to do a Software recovery now?

I installed last version of WHS add in via my WHS console. V.1.0.2

I downloaded PS3 media server into standard path, copied it to the add in WHS folder and in turn installed it into the same add in folder .

PS 3 media server icon is on the WHS console.

A green screen pops up when clicking on the icon . When I click on "open PS3 Media server", I get the following message "PS3 media server not installed"

May some one help me !!!!

I am ready to donate but would like it to work . I think this is a great add in and hope be close to have it fixed.

Thanks a LOT.

The add-in is a 'control panel' for the main PS3 Media Server which needs to be installed on the WHS first. Did you install the main program as stated in the first post on this thread?

Hi Dave,

I've got the same issue with the Add-in. The main program is installed and it is set as a service (which starts automatically).
The Add-in says: "PS3 Media Server not installed" and "Could not find PS3_config.xml".
Any idea, what's wrong?

Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled and reinstalled, both the add in and the main program . I installed main program to the add in folder and add in in a second step. I have exactly the same failure messages. I have no instance of PS3 media server running.

May be I am not installing main program in the right folder?

Thanks again.

Hey all together,

I have the same problem here. I think, there must be a version difference problem. Maybe the both versions (current ps3ms version and the whs add-in) aren't compatible. maybe someone who is using this add-in successfully can write which version of the media server is running with this add-in?

Thanks
