Hi,

First of all, I hope that you would understand what I'll write, I'm not english and not so fluent in English.

I have a local network, all static ip's the network is are on a gigabit network, 5 computers on windows XP Pro (up to date), one laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate (I also have a PS3 and a Xbox360) and feeding all those computers a Windows Home Server (also up to date).

All my computer are protected by comodo firewall and kaspersky 2009, except for the windows 7 who is under kaspersky 2010.
The WHS is only protected by the Windows's firewall and is not connected as web server.

I can see the WHS on all my computers, I can see all computers on every computers, I can ping every computers and I can access the console of WHS or access the WHS remotly at all times from any computer.

All this to say, that my netwrok is fully functionnal :P

On the WHS, I have a shared folder and the usuals one (video, music, etc..).

But, I have a big problem.

The first time I have connected those folders as network drive on the computer with wondows 7, I had to enter my username and the password to access them. I save those

But, everytime I shut down the computer with windows 7 and reconnect it to the network, all the network drives are unavailable.

I had to re-type the username and the password to access those folders.

And worth, if I make a mistake on the password (I have a complicated password), I always have the same message that I can't connect to the WHS because I'm not referenced (hope the translation is good).

I have found some clues on the web but whatever I try it's not working (for ex. the Send LM & NTLM responses in Network security: LAN manager authentication level).

And when I go this error, all my access on the WHS are blocked for the computers (not for the PS3 or the xbox) for all the computers on my network.

And if I delete the user on WHS, and recreate it, I can access again on the WHS but I have to re-enter my credentials.

TIA for your answer, I hope that you understand all my explanations.

Well, for an unkown reason, the username on the WHS was locked.

Now everything is working.

It sounds to me that your Windows 7 user account is not what you think it is. On the Win7 machine, bring up a command window (cmd.exe) and type "net user" to see what the account in use actually is. Then create an account on WHS to match, or create a new account on Windows 7 to match the account on WHS.
