Hi,
I am really interested in using this add in but when I try to set it up it gets as far as the DFS Sservice and asays that it is not started and that I should try to start it manually. I have trawled a lot of web pages searching for reference to DFS on WHS and can only find references to DFS in Server 2003. I try starting the DFSSVC.exe but nothimg seems to happen and I get the same error message.

how are you using the program. the way i saw it was as an extension to your homeserver.com address meaning homeserver.com/webfoldersshare

i didn't see it as any configuration. as long as you have https on port443 forwarded. but don't know if even that would matter. my router only lets one port for https. in trying to get another program working. i changed the name. so there's no https port anymore. and it still worked.

so your address would be "https://yourname.hom...ebfoldersshare" without the hyperlinks or whatever they called.

you do have to go into the homeserver console and make sure the program is properly setup. click on settings then click on program in left corner tab section. then click setup or refresh. so it can setup your folders. then close the settings box and enable your folders that should pop enable them to be displayed on web. if the folders aren't set to be displayed you won't be able to access your https site.
