I have a 4-disk Raid 5 array (3 TB total) set for server backups. I also have a 1.5 TB drive set for backups as well. I thought all was well until I got a warning that less than 10% of my drive was left. Only then did I check and found out that the 1.5 TB drive was not being used at all. If I want to keep backing up everything what must I do?
(1) Is there a way to delete old backup files? Better yet, can that be done automatically?
(2) Can both the Raid array and the additional drive be used for backups? If WHS 2011 won't do it by itself, is there an add-in that will accomplish that?
or
(3) Must I replace all 4 disks in the RAID array with larger disks?
